Silver Dollar Bags?

If I bought a $1000 bag of silver dollars, what should I expect? I tried the "search" function and came up empty. Would they be loose or rolled?, solid dates or mixed?:favorites8:

Most likey picked over garbage. Basically, silver content only. In the long run, you can't lose if you didn't pay way to much.

I have seen all the above for sale, price will depend on condition/dates...

This is what I expect, but I'm thinking of taking a shot anyways. Thanks.:yippee:

In a typical bag, you will see lots of slicks, probably mostly Peace Dollars, with the occasional 1921 Morgan.

I would insist on knowing the range of coindition...and if there are Ag & G graded coins, I would want to know the approx percentage of each.

If I couldn't get this information I'd pass unless the price was VERY cheap.
Severly worn Morgans and Peace dollars IMO are only good for sending to a refinery.

:headsand:Over the past 12 years as I am sure many of us have done --I have picked up a few Morgans and Peace Dollars here and there over the USA in my travels and put them in 3 different bags of Good --XF and AU and counted them recently at almost 3000 ---so now what do I expect as a premium ---Just have no idea as they are back in the ground stored in air tight containers for an inheritance to my grandchildren

A huge premium over a regular (really 2 $500) $1000 bag...
perhaps?

More silver I believe is the reason; plus the icon nature of the BIG stalion in the silver barn. :shine:
